Here’s another tragedy. Can anyone say what we got for the money? Was any agenda, liberal or conservative, actually advanced? For these trillions of dollars, we should have been able to fix the entire transportation infrastructure of the country, fully modernize America’s military, or solve the health care problems of the country.
It is hard, even for Washington, to double the national debt and accomplish nothing. But they are managing it.
