As a country, we are not adequately prepared against the threat of a bioterrorism attack. I am Vice Chairman of the Commission on Weapons of Mass Destruction, Terrorism and Proliferation. but also the current outbreak of H1N1 virus. If the President asked today how many people were infected with H1N1, there is no system in place to accurately provide an answer. We’ve known for months that the H1N1 virus was coming and we still aren’t prepared. This is a real concern and more should be done to protect Americans.
